DataFile Technologies Welcomes New Legal Counsel

Kansas City, Mo. — December 4, 2017: Health information management solutions leader DataFile Technologies is thrilled to announce the addition of Valerie L. Craig, Esq. as Regulatory and Compliance Counsel to the DataFile team. This role is crucial to ensuring continued compliance with HIPAA and regulatory guidelines in the healthcare IT industry. Craig’s position as legal counsel for DataFile will align compliance with the vision of the organization by analyzing company processes and integrating them with the appropriate and supportive regulatory statutes, requirements, policies and programs.

Before coming to DataFile, Craig was in private practice for a law firm in St. Louis, Missouri. During her time as a litigator, she was an effective advocate for her clients having experience at both the trial and appellate level. Her leadership skills go beyond the courtroom and into the legal community as she serves on the executive Board of Directors for the Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater St. Louis.
